Our family of 8 enjoyed the breathtaking 50-minute ride up north along one of the most beautiful highways along the Baja California Mexico Coast. Our tour guide Pedro and the driver were excellent in narrating the beautiful drive in an air-conditioned bus while hearing about...the history of the area. After the shopping stop in Rosarito, we headed to Puerto Nuevo where the restaurant served a plentiful plate of delicious lobster. Even my 7-year-old niece enjoyed the meal. Along with the lobster, there were rice, beans, and yummy homemade flour tortillas. Although this Disney Cruise port adventure is described as a lobster lunch , it was the best sightseeing port adventure for any cruise stopping in Ensenada. It 's absolutely kid friendly and the best option to see most of the beautiful Baja California coast in Mexico. I highly recommend it for adults, and families including kids.

Puerto Nuevo is known for their lobster. The lobster here is cut in half, and served with Mexican style side dishes. Side dishes include large flour tortillas, rice, beans, and salsa. Most of the restaurants are run by the same families and have a similar...recipe, but this particular one was the first and is our favorite.

I have been coming to the restaurant for about 25 years, although prior to this last visit I had not been here in 12 years. I have to say the lobster did not taste as good as I remember. We each ordered the medium lobster...since that is all they had, which was like $24. This comes with rice and beans and two flour tortillas per person. There was almost a two hour wait, but I have waited longer before. I think this will be my last time visiting this place, since next time I will try another place.
