Bidrage med feedbackSchnitzel was average, roast pork was juicy and flavourful, Klöße were perfect. Simple satisfying filling food.
The soup was fantastic. Waiter provided great service and the atmosphere was decent
We were eating here on recommendation yesterday. The service was too close to very friendly, which suddenly changed with the complaint. We complained about the children's carving and a hunter's carving. The meat was inedible, under the panade it was clearly red, which says it was pre-panned a few days ago. The dish again prepared was also unfit for the same quality, i.e. the meat. The cook showed in the conversation what is not to be claimed from the operation. She put the complainted food on the bill on the ground that she was contact for complaints and not the kitchen. After a short discussion and the offer to give a sample of food to the Health Office, the dishes were taken out of the bill. Our conclusion
Unfortunately, at our last visit (22.06.12) have to experience that the otherwise so good Augustian pan has been very bad...the meat was not edible, actually suitable for the ton! Shame...
This brewhouse, where even tourists buses have to drop off their passengers, has to be visited because it has nothing to do with Eisenach. The Augustinian beer was brewed by monks in Munich in 1328 and has a long tradition. It has also long been based in Eisenach. In this restaurant there are defensive, Bavarian cuisine over barbecue groves, ribs, sauerkraut, monasteries and of course the defensive slaughter plate. Of course the Augustinian beer in many varieties. We ordered the pork roast plate for €9.20 and these were 2 thick slices of pork roast, with napkin dumplings, as you also know from Bohemia. Judgment: very tasty and the price very good.
