Bidrage med feedbackEinbeck, located in the southern Lower Saxony between Hanover and Göttingen, is a picturesque small town that attracts numerous visitor flows due to the immaculate old town with its magnificent works. Due to its remarkable slate, the tower of the centrally located market church can soon begin with the more famous brother in Pisa. At the latest from Einbecker Bier he heard one or the other. Finally, Martin Luther was invented in the former Hanseatic city of the Bockbier. In this small town I grew up, visited the Gymnasium and made everything you do from the youth group work in the church to the music train of the volunteer fire brigade. Not everything was always voluntary. But that's it. Either you like this and you always look for something like that or you're looking for a way to the other world. I chose the latter. From time to time I still visit my hometown. Finally, there are family reasons. Today I come mainly for culinary reasons. And that's something special. Because my goal is “The Swan”. As long as I can remember, the "Schwan" was always the first house in the square. If you were able to celebrate and afford something special, you went there. My family could not afford it at that time and my own culinary interest was not yet pronounced when I lived there. So it never happened that I had eaten in the “Schwan”. In the meantime, we met the operator pair Ute and Horst Wicke via the social media, which now led to this, albeit late premiere. The hotel as well as the restaurant breathe some kind of Nouveau style, are a little nostalgic with a lot of old pink as dominant color. But that fits in the style of the house and this city. It is not quite unimportant to mention that Ute and Horst Wicke have been operating the house since 1965, they in the kitchen, he in service. Since both were already deprived at the age of the child, everyone can calculate that the debate on retirement age is completely ignored here. Inside Ute Wicke is autodidactin, which has received curiosity for modern techniques over the years and decades due to many visits and courses in well-known chefs. This is already clear at the first Amuse Bouche, a trio where, besides a very conventional tomato-mozzarella-Olign-Shoo, a beautiful **** Mary version with Espuma remains in memory. Amuse Bouche

Very hospitality hotel very good food and a lovely host and hostes very good hotel very good food and a very friendly guest woman and herr
We felt very comfortable here. the operator pair is very concerned about that of their guests. the location only a few meters to the market place and the museum as well as PS store in a few minutes to reach a foot do another.
Fantastic kitchen. Unfortunately, the restaurant is completely over decorated. but for eating it is worth visiting at any time. superior gastronomy of the very best!
