Salt Cafe Bistro - Egilsstadir

Got the wrong order. When I told the waiter it was the wrong order he asked me if I wouldn't just want to eat this since it would take a really long time to make what I ordered (I ordered a salad and the restaurant was far from being full). He then told me I could just get a discount instead. I ended up receiving a 15% discount for a meal I didn't order... Can't say I was impressed with either the meal or the professionalism of the staff.

We decided to give this newly opened restaurant a try and were pleasantly surprised. We opted for the more budget-friendly options, ordering a chicken dish and a pork dish.

The salted cod was delicious and one of the best fish dishes I've ever tasted! My wife also enjoyed her burger. The restaurant is a nice, quiet place with decent service. The beer selection is a bit limited, but the prices are reasonable compared to other restaurants in the area. Overall, I would definitely return for another meal!

This restaurant in town is average. It offers standard international food at average prices. The service is good, but nothing exceptional. It falls somewhere in between not bad and not excellent.

Lunch spot-we were there for just a snack but the menu looked amazing, baked goods looked really good would go back for lunch/dinner
