The Pasta was beyond overcooked and then clumpy. 2. There was no actual Pomodoro Sauce, only a few diced, cold tomatoes and watery spinach leaves. 3. Absolutely no flavor. 4. Tasted like watery, overcooked pasta. Veal Parmigiana: Underwhelming. 1. Red sauce tasted like jarred sauce. 2. Pasta that came with the dish was beyond overcooked and clumpy 3. Veal was tender. Caesar Salad: 1. Dressing lacked flavor 2. Croutons were stale 3. Tiny for $11 Casa Salad: 1. The dressing was straight oil 2. $12 for extremely small portion. The tiny piece of bread they gave us for two portions was stale.
I was sad this time when I went. If basing it on just this experience, I would have given an even lower rating. The first time we went, had a excellent meal. I don 't know if ownership has changed or if it was just an off night. Firstly, there was a bar tender who was just soo loud and we were on the other side of the restaurant. And he was talking politics loudly. I don 't care if I agree or disagree with what you are saying, I don 't pay to go out to dinner to have to hear someone yell about their political views. Our server, while friendly enough, was too attentive and then not at all attentive. She came over 4 times in less than 8 minutes while we were trying to decide what to order and then once we put our drink and appetizer order in, we barely saw her at all. She forgot 1/2 my order (there were only 2 of us, so not a hard order). We ordered a second round of drinks, she never put them in. The food was not great. The bread served at the start was not fresh made and very dried out (not like intentionally crisp just like it had been sliced hours head of time). My appetizer of stuffed long hots which she claimed would be a religions experience was not cooked. The peppers were still raw. The sausage they were stuffed with I couldn 't even taste. If I didn 't know that is what it was, I would not have been able to guess. My husband 's app tasted like it was drowned in lemon juice. And his veal and pasta dish was dry. My ravioli were ok, but nothing to get excited about. My drink, a cocktail they call ice pick, from the bar was very good. I was upset my second never made it over. The gentleman serving water and clearing our plates was very good. It was expensive as well. Just 2 of us, 1 drink, app and entree each and it was over $100 before tip. Sadly with other options in the area, we will probably not go back.
Excellent service, food delicious, the owner was exceptionally welcoming and the staff was excellent, overall more than beyond. They went out of their way to give my mom an awesome birthday. Thank you for making my mom feel extremely blessed and special
I absolutely enjoy everything I’ve eaten from this restaurant. I had a gnocchi lobster Mac cheese this Sunday for Valentines Day. I must say. I can’t stop talking about it. I can’t stop thinking about how delicious it was. For the record. I don’t like mac cheese at all. My Ceasar salad was so delicious as well. You can taste the freshness of the lemon and olive oil mixed with the rest of the ingredients. My peanut butter martini was also so delicious. It was the perfect dessert martini. If you haven’t been to this restaurant please do. Chef Mike really puts his heart on his food. Every single dish he has made have been amazing. Everything is from scratch. You won’t find that in many restaurants now a days. Truly a hidden gem.
Greeted very nicely at the door, the busser immediately poured fresh glasses of water, Gina our waitress greated us, food exceptional (dessert was amazing) had the tiramisu, coffee hot and fresh, absolutely no complaints! Oh and Mary (Owner I assume) even came around to ask how everything was and wish us a Merry Christmas and when we left the bartender said thank you for coming in.
