Bidrage med feedbackHardly the king of speed. I decided to give this place a second try because the first time I left the drive thru after waiting 20 minutes. Well today we waited 15 minutes which is just too long for a drive thru.
Went into Smoothie King today. Normally I am not one to leave a negative review. I am not leaving this review because they were backed up on orders, short staffed, and took very long to get the smoothie. I understand times are hard right now and today was a popular day to get a smoothie with the heat.I am merely only leaving this review because I am severely lactose intolerant, I asked for almond milk, and I 100% can guarantee that regular milk was put in my smoothie. Unfortunately I have been very sick all day. Love smoothie king but not today :
This locations “machine” seems to always be broken. I’ve been here several times in a weeks time and each and every time they claim the machine is broken and they can’t make drinks because they don’t know the recipe? My daughter and I also came here twice last Saturday and was told the same thing but saw a woman walk out the store with a large drink. Poor customer service. Beat practice is if systems are out of service to place a sign on the door and contact partners such as Door Dash to inform them of the situation to deter orders being placed. Ridiculous. Edwardsville needs a Planet Smoothie or a competitor that will provide exceptional service.
It was a hot day so we decided to go in out of the heat and order. Music, if you can call it that was blaring on the overhead speakers playing one rap son after another with not so nice lyrics. One was UnoTheActivist Jealousy. Just glad my children were not with me. NOT family friendly environment.
Sharing this review in hopes the restaurant realizes their staff constantly turn their online ordering on and off. I understand the volume at times and have no complaints there, but this evening before 6:00 PM I tried to place an order for pickup the tomorrow morning at 7:00 AM. When I went to checkout, it said ordering at that time is not available. Ok, I get that. I tried to bump it back and they are not allowing any orders for tomorrow at any time throughout the entire day. WHY IS THIS??? Why can I not have a simple smoothie order fulfilled when it is placed a day in advance? People who plan ahead in advance seem to be always downgraded for drive-thru orders at most establishments today. This was an order for 5 and not just 1. You are losing a big piece of business with advance orders that are likely larger chunks of revenue. Just thought I would relay in hopes you realize that not only are you losing money out the door, but customers too.
