El Macho Taco - Edwardsville

It?s rare to see a restaurant with so many five stars, I was surprised to be so disappointed. Even While we were there, a table was complaining. Maybe it was a fluke. We got the nacho in a can thing, that was actually fun and pretty good. I got that massive taco it was just okay. Kinda mushy. The steak street was like a 4.7 star taco.

Was interested to try this restaurant after being near it a few times. A few coworkers and I stopped in for lunch a few weeks ago and I was pleased with the meal. It's not a fancy place and I probably wouldn't do a date night here, but I loved the chorizo street tacos I ordered. Service was pretty quick and portion sizes were good. A coworker of mine got a normal sized burrito that was huge. Relatively small menu, but again a good lunch spot. I would definitely visit again since it's so close to my work.

This place just reopened under new management! I had the Pollo Feliz and it was SO good! I will definitely be back.

Wonderful Quesobirria tacos! (Birria street tacos with birria dip and melty queso inside the taco). Just reopened 4 days ago! Will definitely be back, likely within the week! ???? great service as well.

The service was great, the restaurant was clean, good atmosphere. However, the food was just ok. 5 of us and we all had something different. We all agreed the meat just wasn't seasoned enough for our liking. The food had more of a traditional bland taste. It wasn't bad by any means just not our idea of good Mexican. We like a lot of flavor and spice.
