Bidrage med feedbackMy friend lives in Edmonton and took me there. I've been back with my husband several times. Great food. Unbelievable selection and I always go home with something from the bakery.
I stopped comprehending 3 pizzas yesterday, and I remember why I love this place. 2/3 of the website is an Italian supermarket. Prices are a touch above average, but the fruits and vegetables are with a doubt the judiciary, and...freshest produce round. There are special meats vinegar oils pastas olives and all kinds of juices. The bakery is great. Cannolis, banana bread, croissants, ribbed cream in sweet rolls, amazing cakes all I can say is that you need to try it. I've been working through the past. The 1/3 of the square is a cafeteria restaurant. You go to the counter and pay for your order. The soups are wonderful, but I always go to the pizza. It takes about 15 minutes and your pizza is ready. The Margarita cheese and the basil pizza were perfect. The thin crust was crispy and the cheese was tastefully light and simple enough. The pizza with sausages was also great, but if you don't like spices food, it can't be for you. I loved sitting on a table in the middle of the busy loud place. Around me were families, friends with coffee, ladies with lunch, people in easy conversation, people in serious discussions. Have fun. Try a pizza. You'll like that.
If you are looking for a place called Spinellis, it appears the restaurant of the Italian food center. We decided to go to this place for lunch. We both ordered a torpedo sandwich from their specials board and thought that was their...ass. A sandwich should be smoked with maple chests and the other one a beef. The two thin small pieces of meat and cheese placed on the sandwiches were tiny and tasteless. Café Latte was good, but quite expensive. The big latte we ordered was disappointingly small. You can easily get a bigger latte of Starbucks, which is just as good or better than what they use here. The restaurant is part of the grocery store. You order and pay for your food at the switch then wait until your order is called. The prices in the grocery store are far too high. You sell a lot of unique ethnic food, but you can get the exact same items elsewhere in the city for much more reasonable prices. It is difficult to buy in the store as the Aisles are barely wide enough to allow a car in some places. Good luck maneuvering through these journeys! It is very unlikely that I will ever be back.
I frequently purchase half of my meals at this restaurant. I enjoy discovering my preferred items from Europe and Latin America. I am pleased with the recent changes to the bar. In my opinion, the location in the western part of the city is more picturesque, while the one in the city center is more iconic. Although it may be challenging to locate, I do not mind. I particularly enjoy visiting on Sundays. I indulge in delightful teas, cappuccinos, and a delicious bowl of soup after my weekly shopping. The food is exceptional, and dining amidst the various languages and accents of the neighborhood is truly enjoyable. I absolutely love this place.
Everytime we visit Edmonton this is a mandatory stop for us. The bakery offers delectible treats, the coffee is always top notch, the food is fresh and tasty and they offer a variety of hot and cold drinks. The market is very worldly and is...one of the few places we can seem to find our favourite Portuguese olive oil. The fresh bread, cheese and meats are worth every penny. Highly recommend a visit!
