Royal Pizza Hys Centre - Edmonton

Today I found a beautiful gem ? at the Hys Centre when I needed sustenance after having blood work and medical appointments. As I walked by, angels sang, the clouds, parted, and there was probably a unicorn to greet me at the doors as I entered.Upon entering this magical land of deliciousness, the friendly franchisee welcomed me and asked to take my order. As you can see in the photos I 've shared, the pepperoni and pineapple in all its glory, heaven on Earth ? took my taste buds on a trip of a lifetime.This quiet intimate atmosphere and amaaaaaazing friendly staff truly offer MORE THAN GREAT PIZZA !If you 're expecting styrofoam flavoured mass produced pizza that arrives in ten minutes, this may not be the establishment for you. This Royal Pizza uses locally sourced REAL ingredients! Each pizza pie is made with loooooove by a team of family-like workers that are passionate about quality and great service.I spend a lot of time at medical appointments and will be back again sooooooon! I will pop in for coffee while I work on my laptop and snack on delectable desserts or indulge the goblin that resides in my belly with REAL food that doesn 't come out of a microwave at very reasonable prices for the quality delivered.The prices may not be as low as other restaurants, but you 're getting REAL locally sourced ingredients (not cardboard).10/10 RECOMMENDVegetarian options: I have a lot of dietary restrictions yet it 's still easy to find delicious options that have no meat or other foods that I may not be able to tolerate at times.Kid-friendliness: It 's quiet and the restaurant is an establishment I would take kids to. Please be respectful of the staff and don 't be loud or messy... they won 't complain, ofc. We’ve had delicious pizza from Royal Pizza from other locations so wanted to try a location closer to home. Lots of negative reviews on here but we had no issues. Called to put in our order. Was given a pick up time (30 min . We ran late and they called us at the 40 min mark. Pizza is super tasty and was still hot/fresh despite us being late and eating it close to 45 min after it was ready. The only downside is the cost. 2 medium speciality pizzas (10” was $47.

I have lived close to this location for over 5 years and finally decided to try it out.My husband ordered a Royal Pizza and I tried the Regular Donair with a Ceasar Salad.We waited for the food for over 30 minutes. When my husband got his pizza it was piping hot and fully cooked. I can't say the same about my Donair. My Donair was cold, the cheese was not melted at all. It was like he just pulled it out of the fridge and called it a day. So I sent it back and my waitress microwaved that Donair and brought it back. The best she could do because apparently the cook was having an off day.It came back a gross mess.So at the end I did not have to pay for my Donair. Pizza great, Donair awful. The waitress tried.

Worst service ever! It took 40mins for just one medium pizza. Not even a busy day. We were the only costumer. We almost missed our doctor’s appointment. Never go there!!!

Ordered 2 Large pizzas online for pick up, brought them back home.Ended up being 2 medium, and under cooked. Would not recommend.
