Maria's Place - Edmonton

I stopped in to Maria's for a quick lunch while running errands. The service was fantastic! So friendly and attentive, food was amazing. It's hard to find a place that still uses real, hand sliced turkey in their sandwiches. Very reasonably priced. Club house sandwich, fries with gravy, and a coffee with several refills for less than $14. I've lived in the neighbourhood for 2 decades and i'm so sad i didn't discover this place sooner. If you're looking for excelent diner food and great service you need to check out Maria's. Your money is much better spent here, at this small business, than any chain/franchise around.

Ok...So the decor and dodgy neighbourhood may be a turn off. But I have been going there with my friends family for years. The food is ALWAYS delicious and inexpensive. The owner Mai who pretty much runs the whole show is amazing, Knows everyone by name and knows their food quirks, Never missing a beat. <3

Went here for breakfast with the wife when we were visiting Edmonton which we do several times a year. Chose Maria's because of the reviews praising the great breakfast and cheap prices. Well to be fair, the breakfast was good and the price was great, but the place was very dirty. Looks like the walls in the restaurant were not washed in a decade, and when I went into the bathroom it was absolutely filthy. Now I come from a coal mining town, and I worked in the oil sands as a laborer, so I am not a prima dona that objects to a little dust, but this place was seriously dirty. Would not recommend this place to anyone, even with the good food and great prices.

I love coming here with my bff Lisa. Always pleasent here. Omg the food is also perfect and filling to. Some finish their plate full and some take home. I had the breakfast done perfectly to my personal liking. My friend Lisa had the a burger and I mean a nice big burger with soup delicious food. This is our to go place especially since we are both busy with work and we got time to catch up love this place since we live on opposite sides of the city.
