Bidrage med feedbackThis was our favourite curry place in all of Edmonton, but unfortunately the new ownership has changed that. The inside of the restaurant is completely different, not at all as nice as it was before, it feels cold and unwelcoming. They didn’t even have their updated menus or the bar the set up. There was 5 of us, none of us enjoyed our meal. I am really not one to complain but this was so disappointing. Our chicken was very fatty, not a lot of meat per serving and the curry itself just wasn’t tasty. I ordered a korma and it was not at all how an Korma usually comes, it wasn’t creamy, it was just chopped up tomatoes in a sauce. The lamb was like 50% bones. Again, I don’t like to complain but this was extremely disappointing and we will not be returning, don’t waste your time here.
This small restaurant on Whyte Avenue is fantastic. I highly recommend it. The owners are very friendly people. The coconut naan is absolutely delicious. I will definitely be coming back.
We ordered lamb with an Indian sauce at this restaurant. Unfortunately, the lamb dish we received was mostly bones, with very little meat. Despite this, the service was quick and we enjoyed interacting with our waitress. She was friendly and accommodating, even though she seemed to be new to the job. Overall, we had a very entertaining dining experience, although the restaurant was a bit chilly inside. It would be beneficial for the establishment to improve their heating system.
The service was awful and the food was revolting. The restaurant has new ownership and was terrible in every aspect. The previous Indian owner provided superb food, so we were hoping for a similar experience until the waitress informed us of the change in ownership. A lack of available menu items and limited alcohol choices. We will never be returning.
Disappointing. This used to be one of the best Indian restaurants in the city, but now sadly nowhere near the same quality as before. Smaller portions. Food was not fresh and definitely not the same recipes. Both the curry and rice were dry and tasted like old leftovers. The naan was an odd texture and rubbery. I hope they can figure out how to regain the quality of the previous menu. The restaurant itself might also need some ventilation.
