Golden Rice Bowl - Edmonton

Very Good. Our family of 3 went there yesterday. We ordered lemon chicken, fried rice, Szechwan beef, and Cantonese chow mein. The food came really fast and we were served a large amount. We ate two thirds and brought the rest home. We order Chinese food a lot and went there because of reviews on tripadvisor. It was terrific. We are going back again before our trip is over. The staff is very friendly and are always bringing tea or water. Each dish is around 20.00. Our cost was over 80.00

Golden Rice Bowl Restaurant has the best Pecking duck in Edmonton. My wife's birthday recently we ordered their duck. The three course ; the wrap that is some carrots and green union wrapped with sliced duck skin, delicious. Second course , the soup comes with vegetable and tofu and sliced pieces of duck meat with their bones Third course duck with noodle or duck with fried rice. All are delicious. We have been to many restaurant in Edmonton, this place is the best for Pecking duck.

It was 9:30pm and we were hungry for just a little nosh of Chinese Food. So while we were shopping for groceries we ask the guy behind us where was a good Chinese Food place and he recommended the Golden Rice Bowl. We were pleased to see they were still open when we found the place, it is located in a South Edmonton Industrial park. We came into the empty restaurant and asked if they were still open. They obliged and we were seated at a nice booth.We were pretty simple in our orders, just an egg roll each and some won ton soup. They were all very good and we enjoyed them. Since they were not busy the waiters chatted friendly with us. It was a nice late night snack.

Amazing family dinner. The food and service is always top notch and today did not disappoint. One of the most popular Chinese restaurants in town and reputation is well deserved.

Authentic Cantonese cuisine. We had lots of meat and seafood (lobster, shrimp, beef, duck, pigeon, etc). All dishes were good. The lobster and a beef dish were memorable. The free dessert was great!
