Cook County Saloon - Edmonton

I went to this restaurant with my friend to watch a Fringe show, and it was freezing inside. I had to go outside to get my jacket, but even then, I was still shivering from the cold air.

I've found the key to enjoying a country bar, and it's not necessarily about loving country music. Although, I must admit, not hating all country music does help a bit.

I'm sure this is the spot for freshly legal drinking age adults who don't know how to two step. HUGE space, loud music and only country dancing that can be found in this bar is Line Dancing. They had instant hangover drinks by offering $13 triples for the night we went. Bar wasn't packed but was filled as far as the eye could see in plaid.

Great environment, staff is friendly, prices are average but great entertainment for a night if you love a western theme and country music.
