Steve's Rib - Edmond

Steve’s rib used to be my favorite for big bbq and good service. my burger and the side of the maise were hardly warm. no butter for the mais, so I asked the bartender for butter. minutes pass and taylor the barkeeper has spoken all the time with the only other customer at the bar. I went ahead and pulled my mais dish from my teller and to the bar dish, where she goes her empty. taylor goes shopping times and finally comes back with butter. I let him know that I am not doing the butter now, because my meal is ready and the mais is completely cold. he's throwing the mais out. no adjustment to the ticket or confirmation of insult. poor service along with moderate eating will sink this joint! don't waste your money. I'm not going back.

The restaurant is simple, friendly and not intended with good food. the ribs fell with a simple but strong spice from the bone. the Steak-Fries were some of the best I ever had. we bought the ribbed plate for and feed the family of three. great place.

Ok so I'm a decent smoker/griller/bar-b-quer, and I've eaten my fair share of ribs....So this is not some half ass yankee review. Steve's Ribs are TOP 3 ribs I've ever eaten. Moist, juicy, tender, flavor, great smoke ring...Freaking WOW!!! First time there we sat on the beautiful patio, service was spot on, got to meet Mrs. Steve and she was wonderful. If you're one of those people who keep going to chain rib joints, well then you're in for a freaking treat. One trip to Steve's and you'll start singing Earl's gotta die, cribs are for babies and wonder why you hadn't been here sooner. MIO proud! Get ya some!

Got the catfish,loaded baked potato,okra and onion rings,hush puppies and a 22oz beer on draft!! Will definitely be back!

I returned to Okc to celebrate my birthday weekend. I have been craving some Oklahoma style BBQ after living in Ohio for a year. This was my first visit to Steve's Rib. My guest and I drove from Norman Ok to try it. It was near closing time, sorry for the lateness, we were welcomed as if it were 6pm. Service was great, the food right on! We were never rushed. It was everything I had been craving. Short ribs to die for. What a great Birthday experience.
