Brent's Cajun Seafood And Oyster

The restaurant wasn't too crowded for a weekend afternoon. The waiter was very nice and accommodating. We enjoyed all of the food! My gumbo was especially flavorful. However, my husband didn't enjoy his meal. He mentioned that his sandwich was overly sauced, making it wet and slimy, and the homemade chips were very oily. Despite that, we would still return to this place!

We enjoyed a lunch on a Saturday. The restaurant was not too busy, but had a nice lively atmosphere. We were seated promptly and decided to start with boudin balls as an appetizer. The food was served hot and the portions were generous. Our server was attentive and kept our drinks refilled. While the meal was a bit on the pricey side, it was comparable to other restaurants in the area.

My husband and I had dinner at Brent today and we will definitely be returning! The staff were all very friendly and despite the restaurant being busy, our food came out quickly. For starters, we had the crab stuffed jalapeños, which were packed with delicious crab meat and were juicy and tasty. My husband ordered the Cajun pasta and I opted for the Bayou sampler, which we shared. The portions were generous and the food was served hot and delicious. Our favorite dish was the Cajun pasta, as it was creamy without being too heavy. The Bayou sampler was a bit salty for my liking, but I still enjoyed it. We will definitely be going back to try more dishes.

My wife and I had the most amazing experience. Staff was amazing, bartender made best old fashion I?ve ever had and don?t even get us started on the pontchatrain (not sure I spelled that right) amazing red fish dish with the most amazing heavenly sauceover the top with shrimp and mushrooms. I mean absolutely amazing. Best Cajun I?ve ever had outside of NOLA! Recommend 100

The first time I went (a few months ago) the food was absolutely amazing. I got the voodoo chicken my boyfriend got the alligator half and half. Everything was cooked perfectly, but since then it has just went down hill. The second time I went(about a month ago) we both ordered the same thing we picked up a to go order they forgot my boyfriend?s side the food wasjust okay. But I understand things happen so we didn?t think anything of it. Tonight we placed an order for pick up orderedthe same thing (voodoo chicken alligator half half) mine was just cooked poorly. It looked completely different from thefirst time I got it. The sauce was runny the breading was falling off of the chicken. The macaroni cheese was not very wellcoated. I only live about 10 minutes away so it is not like I just let the food sit for very long. Disappointing. The bartendersare always friendly though.
