Coot's Grill - EDISTO ISLAND

Second time there, both of them waited an extremely long time to be waited. order what from another customer-like view to be a good-looking pizza. burns and tasteless! I ordered a whisky mad, $9 and a coconut rum potion, $111. I could taste almost a whisky and it wasn't the drink where it was worth. it seems as coots, along with a large number of companies, do everything they have for lost income due to lively, by increasing their prices sky up.! hey, guess times, my wife and I were also negatiw affected! along with millions of others. or could it be that this place is too high for retired people like us? No matter, do they go here if they need to, beautiful harbour deck, eat and drink them just on their own risk.

We ended up here late one night after a day of golf. I think this place would be amazing for watching the sunset and sitting outside for happy hour. We were there on a cool evening in February. Two of us had salads which were fresh and refreshing. Other two had pizza that just called it ‘basic’. Good but nothing special. Nice bar feel with TVs and lots of high top tables.

Another great time at a great place. Beautiful view out over the ocean and great service by everyone there. Still haven't had the food yet but the drinks are fantastic! Update Very busy on Friday night. Not enough help. Took quite a while to get served. I highly recommend checking your bill carefully! Wings were great but still wouldn't do it again on the weekend!

We stopped in for drinks and my friend got the Forbidden Fruit drink. It was so bad that the other three of us tried to drink it just because the bar tender said they won’t refund drinks even if they taste salty. The waiter was very apologetic, bless his heart, but the drinks that we came for were not good. So the ocean view was great, I’d say not making another drink and/or not refunding that drink made it a 1 star experience. I never leave 1 star reviews, EVER. This is a first. And a last.

Coots has the best view on the island with 180 degree views of the ocean from the restaurant and the pier. Their menu has something for everyone and they have recently added some wraps which are now my favorite. I have spent time at Coots both off season and during the crazy, busy, fun days of summer (you have to be a little more patient when every seat is full) and the staff is welcoming, friendly and attentive. It will continue to be the place I recommend most often to travelers and first time visitors.
