What we ordered was not available. I then ordered a chicken pasta dish and my husband ordered a pizza. My fish was terrible. No flavour and tiny bits of chicken. The pizza was very poor and most of it was left, certainly didn’t want it “boxed” . Very quiet with little atmosphere. Service mediocre, had to go over to bar to order another drink as staff were not attentive. Will not be back.

Really disappointed with our meal and service today . Looks like allot of staff changes and wow the service has taken a massive hit . Long wait for our mains and when they did come out half of our party had finished there’s by the time the remaining party got there’s. Absolute shambles. Definitely will not be back .

I took my daughter to this restaurant because she was craving macaroni cheese. I thought they would have amazing macaroni cheese since it was in their name. I decided to order her an adult portion since it was only £1 more than the kids meal, hoping to have a taste myself if it was delicious. Unfortunately, it was the worst macaroni cheese I have ever had. The pasta wasn't even macaroni and the sauce was thin and watery. They offered a takeaway box for leftovers, but I declined because it was really bad. It seems like they chose the restaurant name for the rhyme, not for their macaroni cheese quality. The pizza I ordered was also disappointing - very doughy with poorly spread toppings. It looked like it was made carelessly. Despite the friendly waiting staff, the food was a huge letdown.

This restaurant has a nice atmosphere with friendly, attentive, and hardworking staff. The service is excellent and the portion sizes are good. However, we were disappointed with the lack of flavor in the food. We tried the Toni Macaroni signature Macaroni dish, which was bland until our waitress sprinkled parmesan cheese on top. The sauce was thin and watery. The penne arrabiata also lacked flavor, with a watery and tasteless sauce instead of the rich tomato flavor with a spicy kick promised. The desserts we ordered helped improve the experience slightly, but overall it did not live up to the authentic Italian dining experience that was advertised.

I have visited this restaurant four times now. The first time was around Christmas and it was great and really nice. The next time was not so great, but I thought maybe it was just a one-off. However, after my last visit, I have decided it will definitely be my last. The food was terrible and I wonder if the chefs even taste what they are serving. The chicken and mushroom sauce with mashed potatoes that I ordered was served cold and the sauce was watery. I will not be returning this time for sure. If you want authentic Italian food, I would suggest not coming here. I paid £16.50 for the chicken and mushroom dish and it was not worth it.
