Bidrage med feedbackRank. Do not go. Took seconds for our orders of topped fries to be served. Drowned in alioli, very small portion and **** presentation. Expensive!
Our favourite place to eat in Portobello. Lovely walk Dog friendly . Warm welcome as always . The Cullen Skink was worth waiting for . Being made as we had our starter of bread Olives. Very much enjoyed will be back soon . Thank you lovely Staff . Well done Chef
The servers were fantastic. The nachos we ordered for a starter were delicious. I decided on the Seafood Bun Hun, expecting king prawn and smoked salmon, similar to a crab cake on a bun. However, what arrived was raw-looking salmon, three small prawns on a cold bun. I took a bite and nearly gagged. The server took it away, and a rude manager/owner insisted there was nothing wrong with the sandwich without giving me a chance to speak. See the picture and judge for yourself. I would not recommend this restaurant.
The staff at the restaurant were friendly. The menu offered a variety of classic dishes, as well as some Scottish specialties like cullen skink and a burger topped with haggis. They also had a selection of smoothies. However, I was taken aback by the large number of dogs in the restaurant - there were more dogs than children, and they were not all well behaved. Some dog walkers even brought in multiple dogs on leashes. Additionally, one of the waitresses served water bowls to the dogs and then served human meals without washing her hands. Overall, this establishment was not my cup of tea.
This restaurant has been declining for years. They need to determine if they are a bar or a restaurant. The service was intrusive. We were only here for a drink, but they were out of two types of ale early on a Saturday night. It was also not well heated on a cold night. I will not be coming back.
