One Square - Edinburgh

We had our xmas lunch. 1st time for years (20) that all 6 of us enjoyed every single moment. Staff, food, place excellent. We will be back in 2014....

Eat, service and staff all excellent as usual in the sheraton. the only bad thing that I would say was that the carrot and flower cauliflower soup was lukewarm and not very hot. I would definitely not have considered the sheraton recommend to any of my friends. I look forward to coming back in the near future.

I was so disappointed by eating we had lunch in the bar, eating was lukewarm and actually not taste at all! service was so slow! I even canceled my drink order, as we were done and had not arrived yet. Yeah, we're fooling, but we thought the brassiere was different, so we thought we were eating there. eating was lukewarm again and slowly my sonny burger was raw, I asked if I could have a larger size of the beginners of muscheln, as I then as pornstars and happy to pay the difference. I was not told right now, I'm just going to check with management/cook. there was only 1 other table of 2 people (it was not busy! but now I know why! and once again we thought that we would later try room service in the evening (we were told that we would have to wait 45mins my son ordered sticky toffee pudding and yes it was cold so disappointing. breakfast buffet again everything was lukewarm had to wait 8 minutes until the buffet eggs are refilled (so the eating that was already on the teller went cold I can not believe that this hotel is 5 stars, as the food and service that we would receive this weekend in my well-guided opinion would be a 3 star!

A square brasserie was as always beautiful. eating, service and ambiente all excellent. lunch was for my 60th birthday and it was really very special. I would not have thought to recommend the sheraton to any of my friends. I will go back to the restaurant and bar on the 14th januar. I look forward to both. Many thanks to the sheraton so special for my birthday.

Had to wait almost 40 minutes for the starter. We had said no to bread at start. It was then brought out to make up for wait. But it was included in the bill! I had steak, which was cooked well, but the smoked tomato was disgusting. The dauphinoise potatoes were under seasoned and split. The staff were polite and friendly.
