Bidrage med feedbackWaited in queue for 25 minutes for 2 coffees 1 member of staff doing everything it seemed serving meals and making coffees. I asked the server taking the money if I had to wait in long queue just for coffee answer was a curt yes. Seems very inefficient.
This used to be great place to meet friends. Now there is a limited choice of dishes. All the salads are swimming in oil. And it was so expensive. Only one person serving the food, so service is slow. Staff are uninviting.
If you're visiting the art gallery, this is a good option for lunch. As with many art galleries, it's pricey a sandwich and a cup of tea is £8.50. Cafe gets busy at lunch time, so to get a table, it's best to be there early.
Lovely food but way too expensive. Three drinks, 2 sandwiches, 1 soup. 1 slice of bread. 1 brownie. It came to just over £34. There was hardly anything to select. The queue was long. The girl serving looked really unhappy. The food tastes great but I won't visit again.
The lunch menu was varied with a considerable range of choice. We opted for soup and a cheese scone, and a plate of delicious fresh salads. The flavour was lovely and the portions generous. Other options included freshly made sandwiches with tempting fillings and some hot items .Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options we're available . We succumbed to returning to order cakes, coffee and a cuppa, all of which we would highly recommend. The ambiance is pleasant and relaxed. Today the sun shone through the windows and we enjoyed the view over the terrace as we ate our meal. A lovely way to spend a Sunday lunchtime. Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient .
