The Curry Cafe - Edinburgh, City of

This is one of the best curry houses I've ever been to. The portions are generous and reasonably priced. Definitely worth a visit.

It is a small but cozy café with great food and very nice and helpful staff. Love her lamb kebab. Good pickup service.

During a recent visit to Edinburgh my girlfriend and I were looking for a decent curry house, we found this by TripAdvisor City Guide app (High recommended if you are in this part of Scotland. The restaurant itself has limited space, but this only serves to add the charm of the place. We came and were the only customers there at the time, I don't know if this distorted our impression of the service, but it was fantastic all the time. We were greeted with a smile at the door and showed our seats, then the server went on to explain comprehensively the restaurants dedication for high quality food. He urged us to show any mistakes in our meals immediately when we have found them, and to extinguish any sense of discomfort that may sometimes go through restaurant visits, the food should be unsatisfactory. There was no doubt that this restaurant was ready to take criticism and improve its food on it, an honourable quality in every restaurant in my books! Luckily, no criticism was necessary, the food was fantastic. We enjoyed our meal and I was even offered a job as I dined! I had to live in London because of the fact that I was living in London (I think I was late for a few shifts! but such an offer serves only to emphasize the inclusive experience that The Curry Cafe offers. If you are in Edinburgh looking for a great night and fantastic food, then don't look further than The Curry Cafe. It is a restaurant dedicated to first-class customer service and high-quality food.

Great atmosphere soothing jazz music while we enjoyed a delicious meal. We have the pakora, the super tasty and the dipping sauces were great! The curries we had were also delicious, you could taste how fresh the ingredients were. Customer service was brilliant. You will not be disappointed when you go here:

We ate here as a group of 6 recently and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We'd had carry out from here before and we got a voucher online so decided to try eating in. The food and service were excellent. The menu is brief but with...enough variety to give some choice. The restaurant have clearly decided to focus on doing a smaller number of dishes we'll rather than having the huge menu you get in many curry houses which so often results in bland dishes. Would strongly recommend.
