Bidrage med feedbackI had been wanting to visit The Border for some time and finally made it there today. I was not disappointed at all. I decided to try something different and ordered a hot dog, something I don't usually do because I never know what to expect. But I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious sausage, which was much higher quality than what I have had at other places. I went with one topped with chili, which came with fries on the side. It had just the right amount of spice for me. My son ordered a bacon cheeseburger and couldn't even finish it because it was so good. Another member of our group got the buttermilk fried chicken, which was a generous portion. I definitely want to try the apple cake next time, but I was too full this time. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Can't wait to go back again.
Grenzgänger invited me to her restaurant after seeing her delicious photos on Twitter. Located near Bruntsfield, this small and quirky restaurant serves American cuisine. The menu had a variety of options, including burgers, hot dogs, ribs, and classic American pancakes. I decided to try the hot dog for a change, opting for the Native New Yorker, while my companion chose the grilled baby back ribs.
This restaurant consistently provides an outstanding dining experience. The staff is very friendly and personable. The food is delicious, especially their pancakes, which are the best I have had in Edinburgh. I highly recommend checking them out.
I have passed this place load on my way to the colorfulsfield and wanted to check it out often the menu is all from American and while I was tried by the maple beans and roast chickens, I decided to choose a selection of starters and sides. the stuffed jalapeños were hot, hot, hot. delicious in small amounts, but too much. the pulled pork and cheese stuffed potato peels were delicious. foliage and juicy boar with a brownish cheese on a crispy skin. the salsa with which they were served was really fresh. If you like Mums on Forrest Road, then you will love Frontier, which has recently opened in the buzzing area of Bruntsfield. Specialising in American food, this restaurant has all the old favourites, such as burgers, hit dogs, mac and cheese, as well as some more unusual dishes…. As you walk in, you’ll think you’ve entered a Wild West movie. With raw wooden tables, sheepskin covered chairs and posters of eagles on the walls, the decor literally screams ‘MERICA!
