Bidrage med feedbackThe food is great. If you want a home cooked meal this is the place to come. I have been there eight or nine times and tried different foods. All of it is great.
I’ve always had delicious food from Sirloin House. Salad that come with entree has always been fresh and delicious. Except for this night.Called in a order of Beef tips and baked potato. The beef Tips was like trying to eat a rubber band. Asked for Well done, they burnt them bad boys. Maybe this was a bad night. The salad as you can see in pic, was supposed to be normal salad, ranch on side. They give you small cups. This salad looked like it was fixed that morning and already eaten. some other dressing on it.
It's good for what it is, a Southern country restaurant, so don't expect organic, gluten free stuff. Expect pork, fried foods, biscuits, smothered in love. That being said, I do eat Gluten free and was impressed by their side dishes. The oatmeal and stewed apples paired nicely and they had non-pork meat options like steak, corn beef hash, and chicken.
Had the fried mushrooms, hamburger steak, and chicken fried chicken. The fried mushrooms were really good and plentiful. The hamburger steak and chicken fried chicken were good, but it lacked seasoning. The service was decent. However, our drinks were not refilled until the end of our meal. The food was just too bland, and the service was slightly lacking to give the overall experience 5 stars.
Ordered the jumbo shrimp appetizer at 6.99 and we got 5 grilled shrimp that were far from jumbo more like medium sized shrimp served with more butter than shrimp. We also ordered Prime rib 16.99 12oz very thin cut for the money. Not a bad meal but too expensive for what you got. Moving back to the Arizona desert for good food believe it or not. Server was sweet as pie.
