Bidrage med feedbackWe 've been there twice now and will surely come again! rosenbauchs, which is operated by a pair of brothers, is situated in a traditional country gasthaus , and it still consists of a gasthaus section with simpler and cheaper, but not less interesting fare and a two star restaurant with a more elaborate menu. both times we visited once for dinner and once for lunch we were intrigued by the friendly and competent staff and the high quality of the food. we had come during the so called nespresso gourmet weeks , during which participating restaurants offer a limited menu at a reduced price, and we were genuinely pleased. we can find no fault whatsoever!
We were a deux for dinner . One order was rumpsteak and the other fish. The rumpsteak was not medium well as ordered but rather rare or barely medium. It was chewy and sinewy and had a lot of fat on the side. There is a cover charge for bread and butter and amuse bouche. We had to wait 30 minutes for desert which was curd dumplings with pieces of cereal. The presentation was poor and the dumplings tasted as if they were boiled or been in old lard and the milky sauce tasted old and fat. The fennel vegetables with the fish were the best. Highly overpriced for the quality and lack of respective food presentation. Will not go there again.
We've been tonight at Rosenbauchs for the 2nd time. Perfect dinner again. Great selective menu. Wonderful staff. Great wine recommendations from the chef. Local herbs, meat, veggies, sides, condiments. Nice Amuse bouche and bread/spread. A perfect evening. Had nice chats with both Rosenbauch Brothers about wine and about the new Josper Grill.
Every year starting in November there is the traditional Goose-eating craze in every restaurant. if you want to know how exzellent this big bird can taste make a reservation at Rosenbauchs
There is this charming Restaurant near vienna in ebreichsdorf known for ist horse race and golf facilities and there is another attraction : the ROSENBAUCHS Restaurant ; run by the rosenbauch twins they offer finest local spezialities and a very refined wine list
