The Stable - Eaton

Wings were good. Apparently their system went down which caused a delay and missing items with our order but they went above and beyond to make up for the inconvenience.

The ground beef was cold, the chips were lackluster, and the toppings were too watery. Sadly, I ended up throwing most of it away.

I usually love the food at this restaurant, so it pains me to write a negative review. However, this time was just not up to par. The Beer Battered Cheese Curds were severely overcooked - some of them had cheese oozing out and were burnt to a crisp, while others were so hard that it was difficult to even bite into them. The Fried Mushrooms with Chipotle Ranch were the saving grace of the meal. The biggest problem was with our daughters' kids meal - the junior burger had a burnt black bun and the burger itself was so overcooked that it was impossible to eat. My burger, The Clydesdale, had the same issue. For a meal that cost over $80 and was meant to feed my family, it was disappointing to find that half of it was inedible.

The wings were cold and soggy, and the mac and cheese couldn't compare to Kraft. The salad was good, but it was overpriced.

We've eaten in before and it was delicious. Casual dining in a historic building across from what used to be the railroad depot. This time we called our order in and it was a Fri evening and it was ready fairly quick and was smoking hot! Food was cooked perfectly and packaged thoughtfully. Only complaint I had were the fries seemed a bit under done but they were still delicious! They have live music on the weekend I believe. Also kid friendly. Will definitely be going back!
