Toarmina's Pizza Eastpointe

Asked for a slice, guy sold me a whole pizza! Not disappointed as my appetite was high. The sauce is not too sweet nor too spicy its juicy and refreshing ? I enjoyed the pizza very much! It is definitely better than it was a couple years ago, when I wouldn't have thought twice about the pizza place but now I'm considering a new lunch stop. I'm a Jets pizza fan but this pizza is great! Can't wait to try the deep dish.

I’m giving two stars because the woman behind the counter and making the “pizza” is an absolute treasure. But that was the worst chicken parm sub I’ve ever had in my life. I’ve been in the restaurant industry for almost 25 years and everyone.. well almost everyone knows chicken parm is a breaded breast fried or sautéed. Not US Foods frozen diced chicken breast with rib meat thrown onto a roll with faux mozz and not even toasted. Being from the jersey shore I can promise this place would last a week before being run out of town. Also, the fries were about 30 seconds undercooked. This is basics. Seriously? I hate leaving bad reviews but this just a bad taste in my mouth, figuratively and literally. I threw half of it away.

Have to say, the 24 Pizza gets it every time!We do got it cooked well, but it is super thin, but thick enough to hold the toppings!!! Cooked just right, I waited till we tried 3 separate times before posting, just in case. But the only case is, the get it right!The staff is always great and the timing is on point!

Do not come to this place. They refused to take my payment over the phone and when I came to pick up my food they closed the store 20 minutes early saying the cash register is down. And stated that they closed at 11:30 which isn't true what so ever. They just closed early to go home. So now they get to eat my food.
