Sedap Kopitiam - Eastgardens

I have dined at this restaurant a few times, and I must say they offer a fantastic variety of Asian dishes. The customer service is top-notch, and the flavors are incredible. The prices are also very reasonable.

Situated in the new food street section of the mall, this restaurant is our favorite spot for Malaysian cuisine. The ambiance is pleasant, the service is fast, and the food is delicious. I personally love the Hainanese chicken rice, while my brother always orders the roast chicken dry egg noodles. On this visit, we also tried the roti kaya. The utensils have a traditional Malaysian look and complement the authentic flavors of the dishes. The prices are reasonable, and students can enjoy an extra 10% discount with a valid student card, although this is not advertised in the restaurant. You just need to ask and show your student card. It's a pity that my brother is no longer a student.

I went for lunch today and ordered the chicken rice, laksa, and ice kacang. Unfortunately, unlike my previous visits, today's experience was disappointing. The food lacked flavor and seemed bland. I hope this was just a one-off mistake and not a permanent change for this usually tasty establishment. Please bring back the delicious food that I remember. There are not many Malaysian restaurants in Sydney, so we need options for good food. :)
