Bidrage med feedbackThere were very few gluten-free options available, so I ended up ordering the chicken pumpkin risotto. Unfortunately, it arrived somewhat cold after being reheated in a microwave. The dish also lacked any discernible flavor - it seems like the chefs may need some lessons in cooking with herbs and spices. Overall, the food was of poor quality and priced on the higher side.
Had a room booked for work at the adjacent hotel and after looking at the menu was genuinely excited for the steak at the bar and grill. Alas was left disappointed by the $46 rib eye. Was over cooked and tough, steamed veggies where cold and bland and the mash potatoes where tasty but cold. Maybe it was because it was Monday night and the good chef was off? Staff where nice though
Amazing food!!!! Only reason I would revisit this property The chef has backed up twice now and the food has been amazing. Whilst I won’t stay at this hotel again, I will return for a meal. Great job chef!!!
I couldn't find any faults with the meal and service. There was plenty of both, and the staff didn't seem to mind. The restaurant was clean and tidy. It was a bit challenging to locate from the motel reception, though.
We dined at the Oak because it was convenient but were pleasantly surprised by the range of food and the reasonable prices. Service was quick; staff were friendly; atmosphere was pleasant.
