Casa Brusco - Eastchester

Good food, good service, good enough to return. There children saw, but not toddlers. So I didn't look child-friendly.

The food is freshly prepared and is always delicious. They look like they're happy to join them for dinner. We always have a good time and a good meal.

The staff wonders why it's always so empty there? Well, it's because the food was awful, they messed up the orders, and instead of waiting on tables the staff is at the bar laughing and making jokes with each other. We must have waiting for someone to collect our check for 15 min and guess what? We were the ONLY people in the place.

I went to this resturant on New Year's Eve because I waited too long to make reservations at a known establishment. The service was awful. It took 1 hour just to get an appetizer that should have taken 5 minutes to cook in the deep fryer. The calamari and zucchini appetizer was good. We waited about another hour to get our entrees. The pasta I had for dinner has potential but was very salty due to their use of cheap prosuitto. The deep fried ice cream seamed like it was coated with pancake batter....yuck! I will NEVER go back. The tables siting on both sides of me were also upset and said that they would not go back. The worst part was the place was nearly empty so there was no reason for the slow service.

Casa Brusco was almost empty on this past Thursday night for an early dinner. It's a large place to fill, though! The salmon was over-cooked and over-salted, a shame. The pizza was good, and the one dish we really liked was the octopus in tomato-based herb sauce with beans. Very healthy and tasty... Service is warm and friendly, and we'll have to try the pastas next time..
