Cornfield Garage - Eastbourne

It’s a spoons… if your going there expecting a lovely dinner of course your honing to be disappointed. It’s for pre drinks and garlic bread before going out. When used correctly cornfield garage spoons is the best place on earth, top notch margaritas and cheap pints. What else could you want?

This was the worst dinner I have ever been served in a Wetherspoons. It was a mixed grill . The meat was uneatable!!! The steak was so.tough and chewey that I nearly choked. The gammon and the lamb were the same!!! When I complained the staff apart from a young man called Tom were not interested in my complaints!! I am still waiting for my refund!!! Definitely will never come back!!!

Dirty table was cleaned with a dirty cloth so we did it ourselves. Food arrived at different times so meals were getting cold. Bacon on bbq melt was uncooked, sons meal arrived 10 mins later cold. Burgers were burnt and hard. The wrong food was also bought to the table. Staff not cooperative, non caring. Bad experience would not eat here again.

Tremendously large outdoor seating area with netting to keep the birds out. A variety of seating arrangement well spaced out for comfort a gigantic covered artificial fire. Festoon lights to add to the atmosphere. Went there several times, have had burgers, fish and chips and 3 times went there for breakfast! It still represent very good value for money. The outdoor area is at the rear and we had a long walk through the large well populated indoor section. They also have some outside tables on the front pavement. Lovely service too.

Taken mum and niece for Sunday breakfast, ordered 3 traditional breakfast and 3 hot drinks, reasonable price under £20, all 3 breakfast came to the table cold, hash browns was crispy but cold, fried egg was congealed, bacon undercooked, toast tasted old, the only thing was the sausage was lukewarm, pray I don’t get food poisoning, I might try a traditional cafe next time
