Ld's Bbq - East Troy

The food is and has always been great! However I noticed there was a change in menu where a sandwich that had all meats now only has 3 and does not include sausage as it once did. The price stays the same but less and less portions for the cost.

I truly cannot express how wonderful this BBQ restaurant is, but I will certainly try. First and foremost, their customer service is above and beyond to the Nth degree! They should be a model for customer service in the restaurant industry because this level of customer service isn’t found anymore. We drive 1.5 hours to bring home their burnt ends and rib tips, but we’ve tried almost everything else, and it’s all full of flavor, succulent, juicy, and fresh! I’ve never felt like I was eating something that sat around for a while. Besides there is always a line, so the fresh pans of food are flying out of the kitchen regularly. Their sides are delicious and homemade as well. They have the best potato salad, and we love the beans and cornbread! Do not even get me started on their original BBQ sauce…I could dunk Oreos in it and be happy, and I don’t like Oreos. Giant shout out to Jackie, the manager (I hope I remembered your name correctly…def started with J), who went above and so beyond to correct a miscommunication with an order I drove to pickup. I was perfectly happy to leave with something else yummy, but she was so generous, thoughtful, and on it immediately. I have told so many people about that customer service experience because it not only blew my mind, it set a new Standard of Excellence. You, my dear, are a gem to your profession! I hope Leon completely appreciates you and realizes what a customer service rock star you are! We’ll be back sooner than later…probably for those short ribs!! Vegetarian options: Mac Cheese, potato salad, corn bread. Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. LD’s is everybody friendly!

Take out, ordered two Darby's to go, usually it's excellent this time it was 70% fat on both sandwiches

I was very satisfied with all aspects of this restaurant. I've eaten BBQ all over our great Nation and this place rates right up there with the heavy hitters. Ribs had the perfect bite, outstanding drag rub, meat was moist....just plain good eats. I'll drive the 100+ miles again to enjoy the food there. Staff were friendly and prices were absolutely reasonable. I arrived right at 11 am. Great place for BBQ. I strongly recommend.

Best BBQ in the state. Been going there for 10 years. Love the food. Nothing compares. Service is great, and people are nice.
