Sunday carvery is always good choice of meats served with roasties and yorkshire puds crackling with the pork sometimes!! . The veg offering get's a little monotonous same old, same old, week after week . but we love the caulifower cheese and the roast parsnips please don't take those away . Service is always good no bookings taken which seems to work well. Overall good value for money.

We called for the fish Friday on the 29th March the pub was very busy and thought we would struggle to get a table, we were given a buzzer and only had to wait 10 minutes. We ordered our fish and chips and was pleasantly surprised how quick and efficient the staff was and our meal arrived promptly. The fish and chips was the best Ive had in Bridlington. I was in the mood for a Sunday lunch and after reading reviews, I decided to try out the Martonian. It was a fantastic choice! For £14.95, you can choose from 3 different meats, all of which were cooked perfectly. Some people may be critical, but it's important to remember that it's a carvery so the meat may be left out longer. However, I found that every meat I tried was very tender. There was a great variety of vegetables to choose from, all of which were hot and cooked well. The service was quick and the servers were all polite and efficient. I will definitely be returning again.

While staying at the adjacent Motorhome campsite, we decided to stop by for a meal and drinks based on the recommendation of friends who had visited last year. We were not let down - the food was excellent, hot, fresh, and tasty, and the drinks were well priced. They also have two dog-friendly rooms and the staff were friendly and well organized. We will definitely recommend this place and plan to return later in the year.

The restaurant had a welcoming staff and a great selection of beers on offer. The menu was also impressive. Unfortunately, the overall experience was ruined by the strong smell emanating from the gents' trough type urinal, which was so overpowering that it could be tasted. Even after changing seats, the electronic scent spray on the wall continuously pumped out aerosol whenever someone moved, and the scent was also overwhelming to the point of being able to taste it.
