Jamil Spice - East Riding of Yorkshire

The restaurant staff were very friendly and the prices seemed reasonable. However, the food was lacking in flavor. The starters had very little spice and the main dishes were bland. The chicken was low quality and seemed to be previously frozen, as it was tough. This was surprising as previous reviews had been excellent. Unfortunately, this one bad experience will make me avoid this restaurant in the future.

Small place in need of a bit of refurbishment, pleasant staff food nice, will go again, New menu looks good don't forget to take any alcohol you want as they don't have a drinks licence.

Jamil Spice is the best Indian restaurant and takeaway in the area. The food is excellent with amazing flavors! We order takeaway from here every two weeks and the customer service is top-notch!

I recently visited Jamil Spice and I have to say, I have never had Indian food with so much flavor before. The dishes were bursting with deliciousness and I highly recommend it. I can't wait to go back again.

My partner and I have been to Jamil Spice in Howden twice now and loved it both times. They have all the traditional curries on the menu and a few others I haven't seen in other restaurants, including a decent range of vegetarian options. Each of our meals was cooked to our taste (with the waiter asking how hot we would like it) and was packed full of flavour. The meat was cooked well and the fish in my curry melted in the mouth, it was gorgeous. The waiter was attentive and chatty and made the night more enjoyable. I would have liked to have been offered a soft drink however I have since learnt that at this restaurant you should bring your own drinks which is fair enough! We will be returning again.
