Twistee Treat Ep - East Peoria

The cookies creme yogurt was tasty, and the service was good but a bit slow. That said, we had a large group that arrived together. The reason for 4 stars is my friend ordered ice cream with peaches, and the ice cream was bland. I ate his leftovers because he didn't want to finish it; as a result, I can attest to its taste.

If you haven't tried their food, you should. It's inexpensive and delicious. We've been there several times in the past few weeks. Check them out for their food and then top it off with your favorite ice cream.

This is my kids' favorite ice cream place... not because they make the best items... but simply because it's shaped like a big ice cream cone. haha. The indoor portion is great for the days when it's way too hot to sit outside.

I love ice cream. For many many years I have been driving past this funny looking ice cream cone building. But I never stopped. I always wanted to. Well now I work close by. So at least once a week I stop in there and have lunch. The food is always very good and the people there are very friendly. They even have a place to eat inside. But the best part has to be the ice cream. A strawberry sundae with big chunks of real strawberries. Yummy

Review Date: May 5th, 2013 The iconic ice cream cone-shaped building in the heart of East Peoria, IL. If you are a resident, you have probably driven by this place many times. Some of you may have even stopped in for a bite to eat. I have stopped by many times myself since I live close to it. Each time, the ice cream never disappoints. I have gotten the food a few times and while it is cheap, it’s also only ‘okay’. Not that the food is terrible in any way, it’s just that could use a little lovin’ while being cooked. My special item I get here isn’t even on the menu. It is a strawberry ice cream with chunks of waffle cone in it… while served in a waffle cone. It is divine!
