Burger Barge - East Peoria

Pretty easily one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had. We came in and there was no hostess. Servers kept walking by us without saying anything. Literally took 25 mins to get someone's attention to add us to the waitlist. We were then told it was a 40 min wait. Definitely worst service I've had at a restaurant.

Burger patties themselves just not what they used to be.

I went with some friends and each of us had something different. For appetizers we had mushrooms and pretzel bites. The bites were good but had a bit more salt then one lady liked. She just knocked it off and enjoyed them. Three of us had burgers, they were delicious and large. The fries were a hit. One lady had the pie , I think that was what it was called. It was like a horseshoe style. She kept eating til she said I'm taking the rest home to eat later. A salad with shrimp was enjoyed also. We had a good time. The waiter was friendly and very attentive to our table. Worth going back sometime.

This may be the best burger I've ever eaten, it was delicious! Huge variety of different burgers and it was tough to decide on one. This is a place that feels it would've been massively popular 20-30 years ago, but isn't any more. They have games and skee ball and air hockey, but for whatever reason those may not be the draw that they were for earlier generations. Regardless of the atmosphere though, go here for a burger!

Great place to eat at and wonderful service and fantastic communication , friendly, nice staff , clean -well kept. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who likes to have fun and have a great meal .
