Pizza House - East Lansing

We met friends here on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant was not crowded. We got pretty good service, but it took a long time to get the food. The pizza was good and everyone enjoyed it. I had a hamburger and onion rings. The burger was OK but not hotand the onion rings were cold as was my coffee. This location is very nice inside and nice workers, however I can't give it anymore than 3 stars. I will try it again when I am in Lancing....maybe it was just an off day in the kitchen.

Second time getting take out while visiting family in Okemos, MI. we?re pizza snobs and this was great grub! We also really enjoyed the garlic cheese bread. We highly recommend it.

This restaurant is extremely expensive for what it is. The pizza is okay, but nothing special. We ordered the Hawaiian on traditional crust. The toppings were either completely raw or cooked to death. The crust wasn?t any better? Very bland andboring. The meatball sub was the best food item we ordered. The bread they serve it on is actually really delicious. I likedthe marinara sauce too?but I think they could load it up with more meatballs. For 18 dollars it should be really meaty! We alsoordered the 25 dollar sirloin steak, served with wild rice and vegetables. I think the price is important to mention, becausethey did something I?ve not seen by any other restaurant at this price point; the wild rice was served in a styrofoam cup andthe vegetables were served in a zip lock back. Have you seen Gordon Ramsey?s kitchen nightmares? I could just imagine hisreaction to seeing this! (See the photo) The steak didn?t save the dish, it was over cooked (med to med well when med rareordered) and terribly bland. Do they have salt and pepper in the kitchen? That said the pizza is probably the best thing on themenu, save for the milkshakes which were absolutely delicious. I?d probably go back for one of those but the food was not greatand severely overpriced.

Happiness is deep dish pizza! How can you go wrong with pizza????? These slices were extra cheesy and loaded with carbs that sent our dopamine soaring. You can never really go wrong with pizza. Pizza is proof that money ???? can buy happiness ????.
