Vardon's - East Hertfordshire

I recently visited a friend and we were searching for a nice spot to have a casual lunch, so I recommended Vardons. I always enjoy dining there for lunch. The staff is always welcoming and friendly, creating a beautiful relaxed atmosphere. The service is polite and efficient, with the waitresses being very attentive and friendly. The food is consistently good with a wide variety of options to choose from. We had a relaxed lunch and never felt rushed.

I simply adore this restaurant. The ambiance is lovely and relaxed, perfect for enjoying a drink or two and delicious food. They recently introduced a new menu which offers even more choices and the quality of the food is exceptional. While there may be cheaper options available, being a part of Hanbury Manor Hotel means higher prices are to be expected. The restaurant sometimes hosts sporting events on TV, but it's never overwhelming. Kudos to the friendly and efficient staff at the bar. I'll definitely be back soon.

The hotel is located right next to the golf shop and serves a lighter breakfast if they don't like the large hotel buffet. we ordered a piece toast that took almost an hour to come as everything comes out of the top floor, hotel breakfast kitchen....The waitress was really embarrassing and apologetic, but we did not go back.

Lovely part of the hotel. A chilled out gin and tonic. Staff very attentive and overall a very nice bar area. We did not eat there as we was waiting for afternoon tea.

We ate lunch here, on one of the days, whilst staying at Hanbury Manor. They offer a wide range of meals, including sandwiches, chips, burgers and snacks, making it great for families with young children. The food is fresh, but service is quick. They provide...free snacks, whilst you are waiting for your food to arrive.
