Chuck E. Cheese - East Hanover

This restaurant has declined significantly. The quality of the pizza, including gluten-free options, has decreased. The staff were not attentive and my order was incorrect. When I asked for assistance, I was met with attitude. After reordering, my pizza was burnt. There were no employees available to help when my buzzer went off to pick up the food. The lack of greeting and stamps for my children was disappointing. The restaurant did not have a changing table and the bathroom was dirty. The absence of a play area with a slide was also a disappointment for the kids. Although my children still enjoyed themselves, I may skip ordering food on my next visit.

I arrived very late to my child's party, but a young African American employee went above and beyond to help me. The party was supposed to start at 3, but I didn't show up until 4:45. He made sure everything ran smoothly and knew exactly what to do in every situation. I regret not remembering his name because he was truly fantastic - professional and down to earth. Thank you so much, I only ended up spending around $70 when I had budgeted up to $250.

The restaurant sets all the games to award minimal amounts of tickets. Even if you hit the jackpot, you will receive at most 8 tickets, with most games only giving out 4 tickets. The food was tasty and the staff were friendly, but it is disappointing that you can't win many tickets, which takes away the fun of playing the games.

This place is fun for kids. Except, it's always packed. Too many kids and not enough activities or space. Maybe its not like that on the weekdays. But it's a madhouse on the weekends. They also don't have a free play area like other chuck e cheeses. I feel like this needs a larger space for the amount of foot traffic and more activities overall for it to be bearable.

My kid was invited to a bday party at chuck e cheese. I'd never been before. It was loud. Which was expected. The layout downstairs isn't that great, makes walking around kind of annoying. A good amount of games were out of order, minus 1 star. The card system they have in place of physical tickets is helpful. The pizza was pretty good for what I expected (except for the stuffed crust). My kid actually tried and enjoyed pepperoni for the first time. Thanks Charles!
