Paprika Indian Takeaway

The food here is excellent, as are the waiting staff. The Sheek kebab is probably the best I have ever had and my wife would probably say the same for their special balti (I can't remember it's full name). I too would say the same for the main but for the fact that I went for one slightly too hot for my taste...but that is another good thing for this place...you can order what you want and state what heat you want...medium, madras hot or something hotter. I don't know why I keep thinking I can manage the madras hot! Friendly and attentive waiting staff. We will return.

My family have been ordering food from Paprika Horndean for over ten years and although the management has changed the food has always been fantastic. Tonight, 16th October 2022, I called to order the normal food for delivery and was told the price had gone up 5.00 it's not the fact that the price has increased by 5.00 it the fact that when I queried this, the guy I spoke to said everything has gone up. I said so we have to pay an extra 5.00 tonight, I confirmed that I would accept the delivery tonight but that would be the last time I ordered from Paprika, he replied you can leave this order if you like. I agreed and the telephone conversation ended, I feel this was very unfriendly and not the sort of customer care the owner would encourage. After the phone call I looked at the menu and the Paprika web site and there is no mention of a price increase. This is a shame as our family has supported the paprika and now have to find a new Indian take away. Within minutes of leaving my comment on the Paprika Facebook page it was removed.

Just been for a lovely meal in the restaurant. Brilliant service and chat. Chicken tikka starter best I've had in a long time Garlic chill chicken and meat pathia mains with bombay aloo were perfect exactly the flavour they should be. Finished with hot towel and a baileys Will definitely be coming back

Just had a takeaway from this restaurant delivered by Uber Eats. We ordered a Vindaloo and a Biriyani. All we can say is....we will not be going anywhere else again. I make curry as a hobby and thought I would give this new restaurant a try. The Vindaloo was perfect. Hot and sour. The meat was exactly as expected. My wife is not a fan of trying new locations but her Biriyani has majorly impressed. You could taste all the ingredients and knew it was freshly made. Paprika you have 2 new fans. Thank you.

My partner had been here before with his football mates and had told me it was lovely. I disagree with him! It was excellent. My birthday meal tonight was the best Indian meal I have ever eaten. Our server Naz was wonderful and he even remembered my partner and his mates from last November. I would definitely come again when in the area.
