Food food glorious food yummy but slow service when you're hungry and it didn't matter that they had no wine

Popped in for lunch while getting tyre fixed at nearby Beaurepairs. Firstly no one served us for a good ten minutes. The menu we had was different to the menu that they were actually serving and the lady was visibly annoyed that we had the wrong menu (which we got off the counter with all the others!) got served by another lady that was even more unfriendly than the first. The only people in here were senior citizens. The building is worn and a little strange with power points and fan dials on the ceiling. Ordered a weird pear & chicken salad that was surprisingly pretty good. Other meal ordered was the breakfast muffin - the highlight was the relish and that's about it. It adjoins some weird 'vintage' store that looks like it raided my nanas house and put outrageous price tags on it. Take the extra 10 mins walk to go into main part of town unless of course you enjoy visiting nursing homes

Really great tender calamari. Good coffee too Love the atmosphere, gift shop etc. Will definitely be back.

This place is full of the Nana crowd.Taking my Nan here was a gross & still a very regretted experience. First We were sat in front of a freezing cold open door (there were other seats away from the door, so we moved ourselves).My pizza was a soggy mess, when it finally arrived about 7 minutes after my Nans meal, being well brought up we sat there being polite. My Nan ate a stone cold meal on her birthday. Coffee was expensive, tiny & disgusting.

Great atmosphere and lovely setting. Was pleasantly surprised to see dairy free biscuits and cakes. Disappointed to find only soy milk available for drinks. Service was passable! I hope they make more of this wonderful setting, there is so much potential here!
