Bidrage med feedbackTomi's kiddy sized chips are the reason this generation can't afford houses. For 50c a chip, I'll go elsewhere :)
Bloke behind the counter was a flog. So we walked out. Heard this place was good but customer service ****
And so a while back I made a quick call over the phone regrading if this business has a minimum eftpos, the staff tells me no minimum,All good and when I finally visit to support this business, All I wanted was a takeaway coffee and I had no cash on me and I certainly wasn't going to use a cash machine for one purchase that would have cost me less than the minimum $20 withdrawalAnd the manager rudely advises me that they don't take debit cards, I then attempt to talk sense into him, doesn't listen, it is like he didn't want my business,I am all for supporting local business but if Tomi didn't want my business then they could have said so at the counter and I would have left without a negative experience!, but I do have the feeling that I was not welcome, Fine!, there are plenty of local business in the Geelong CBD who are polite towards customers who deserve it more than this place, I haven't been back since and I don't think I will!I also had the same experience at Cafe Neo in Market Square, terrible customer service over the phone with a woman with limited English, after trying to ask her two question which she couldn't do and 10 minutes of call credit wasted, I hang up, I won't be supporting Neo or Tomi as a result of rudeness towards customers!
Reserved a table for 7 for mothersday brunch - when we arrived we had to wait 15 minutes whilst they joined 2 round tables together for us.obviously forgot all about us as i then had to approach the counter and request some one take our order. obviously forgotten about again and had to go back to the counter to request our drinks, about to walk out when the drinks arrived food took even more time to arrive..... disorganised and understaffed is an understatement. overpriced mediocre food and a latte that was 75% foam. will never go back.
Visited Tomi with a colleague of mine as we heard it was new and we were keen to give it a go. We ordered two dishes between us and i ordered a chai latte. My colleague commented that her water glass smelt funny and in actual fact, it did smell rotten. We were seated awhile and no one took our order... we went to the counter to place our order instead but were instructed to sit back down. Ordering went pretty smoothly.. we waited probably 20 - 30 minutes for our food. My coffee still was no where to be seen .. i went to the counter again .. got no apology but they must have forgotten. This was when i started reading the reviews online and noticed this was a regular occurence. Never returned after that.
