Hi Sushi Japanese Restaurant

Plain restaurant in the mall. the food is very good and inexpensive. The service is friendly and helpful.

The woman behind the counter who takes the money and does the cooking is like an Alsatian dog snapping at you as soon as you walk in the door. As you would expect from a sushi restaurant half the menu is sushi. But anything you order she will say we don't have. Only have the trays in the window made this morning. Also bento boxes but most have sushi which I did not dare ask. And ramen might be OK

Enjoy going here. Service is quick and always guaranteed a lovely reasonably priced meal. We are very fond of the sushi and have tried many different ones our favourite is the Peking Duck and Cucumber followed by the Prawn and Avocado. We try to sample meals each time we come here. Last visit I had the Tori Bento Box just delicious. My husband had the Tinkstsu Ramen which he also enjoyed.We haven't tried the dumplings yet but they look ever so good so maybe on the next visit.

This was the worst sushi experience I've had in twenty years. The people of geelong deserve better. The rice was far too big for the sushi, it was also cold and overcooked. The rice should be at room temperature and just enough for a mouthful. The sashimi was sliced poorly, either too thin or uneven. The service was indifferent, with no napkins, utensils or table water given. The quality of the ingredients was overall very lacklustre.

They have the best teriyaki salmon don! Friendly staff and the food never takes long to come out. Also highly recommend the pan fried beef dumplings.
