Subway - East Devon

Stopped by for 4 subs. Staff were grumpy and constantly moaning about someone else's shift. The language used was totally inappropriate f this and f that. My 2 children were in the store at the time which just makes it even worse!Add to that they made everything seem like it was too much trouble. One of the ladies was more interested In filling her own face with 2 bags of crisps one after the other. Service was also very very slow despite not being busy. The seating area outside the store needs a dam good clean as well.

Really unhappy with our experience. The lady who served us was miserable and rude. The sandwiches were just thrown together, sauce just squirted in a blob in the middle. It all looked very unappetising. The nachos were appalling, and had next to no cheese on, when we asked for cheese we were told that it had enough on. Paid for large wedges and got hardly any. Paid for a large dispensed Pepsi and got given a coffee cup to put it in, no lid, when questioned we were told this was the right cup. Terrible food, terrible customer service and a terrible lunch for me and my family.

Came for a subway today with my partner we waited for some time before we were served as they were chatting amongst themselves and one of the worked was making her own sandwich. When we eventually got served after waiting around 10 minutes the staff we not polite or welcoming to the environment. One sandwich was made with meat and when ordering the second I asked for a 6inch but was given a footlong, I told the lady after she put the meat in then she decided to give me roughly a 4inch subway and put the rest back into where the bread is stored. First of all this is breaching many food hygiene regulation but also allergies and food preferences. I continued to add salad and sauces to the two sandwich which was never in a polite way as well as paying. Extremely poor experience and not worth the £12 we paid.

Only brown bread left, the counters were dirty even the chopping boards. Ok, they may have been busy but when we went it was quite, no excuse to clean and tidy things up. The tuna was very sloppy and the cucumbers were like door stops so one of our rolls was just a one big mess. Didn't even finish eating it. Used the same knife to cut tuna then a different roll without wipping the knife. Never have I been to a subway that has been like this. Feel sick after eating here.

Dirty outside, dirty inside. No choice of bread, cabbage instead of lettuce, short stock on everything! Store was incredibly quiet but our food took at least fifteen minutes. Girl serving made an absolute meal out my subway.
