Fantastic place! Wes the proprieter is an amazing host with possibly the best menu in Essex and especially not afraid to try new things. Would highly recommend. Friendly and above all, Wes is extremely kind and mindful of his customers. Great BBQ in the summer! Check this place out!

Excellent quality and friendly service. The bedrooms are clean and have decent quality linen, and the full English breakfast is the very best I've ever had! Proper coffee too. I've enjoyed staying there fortnightly for the last year and would highly recommend to others.

Nice and quiet, comfy room, excellent breakfast. We met the owner who is very nice!

Awful only half the menu available. My son ordered a ham and cheese calazone and the waitress brought out a chilli and salami pizza to then be told they would only charge us half price as the chef was too busy to rectify as well as other problems not a pleasant experience at all. The waitress was lovely and clearly felt embarrassed by the whole situation

Excellent comfy room. Spacious, quiet, had a fridge, superb shower, comfy bed. Friendly warm and welcoming and hear the pizzas are the best in the area. Definately recommend. I will be back!!
