Mockingbird Garden

We went for a walk from Dundee to Carpentersville, but before going we stopped by Mockingbird to put in a reservation. We stopped in around 3:25 put in a reservation for 4:45, and a seating request. All good, it was set. When we came back we were to be seated in the front of the main entry. When we reminded the hostess that we had a reservation and a seating agreement,, it's was so sorry but… Guess what other better accommodating restaurants in the area. Stopped in for the first time today and had a great experience. The dinner rush was quite busy, so the food and drinks took a little longer than one would expect; however, I very much appreciated the check-ins by the host. She actually was the one who took our order because of how busy they were! Not necessarily a bad thing but I can tell it was one one of those all hands on deck situations. I was also waited on by what I can only assume were the owners or maybe managers of the place? Needles … – show

Very nice place to sit and relax with friends and enjoy some good drinks. Check the menu online as I didn't know what 1/2 the alcohol was but enjoyed a Drunken Parrot.

This is a platinum choice. Delicious drinks, happy yummy food and friendly helpful bar servers! This bar is not to be missed! Don’t be fooled into thinking this is just another bar! Completely satisfying dinner!
