Fairouz - DUVALL

I recently had one of the best meals of my life at Fairouz. I went with a group of 4 and ordered a variety of dishes including fresh pita, muhammara, falafel, halloumi, kebab, fattet hummus, duck, sumac chicken, squash mahshi, pilav rice, sfouf cake, ice cream bars, and mousse cake. Each bite was a journey through the Middle East, Paris, and back. The attention to detail and passion from Chef Walid and his team at Fairouz was evident in every dish. The ambiance and service at the restaurant were exceptional and set a high standard for Ottawa. I can't wait to go back. My favorites from the night were the Halloumi, Kebab, Duck, and ice cream bars. If you love amazing food, Fairouz is a must-try.

The service at this restaurant was amazing. Our waitress, Sydney, was polite, knowledgeable, and very attentive. The food was full of flavor, creativity, and beautifully presented. I also want to mention how Sydney, our waitress, noticed my friend giving me a birthday card and surprised us with a plate of stuffed dates and a "happy birthday" message in chocolate at the end of our meal. It was completely unexpected and very thoughtful. Such a lovely extra touch!

I had been wanting to try this restaurant for some time and finally did so. I was very pleased with the service - they even called me in the morning to let me know a reservation had become available. The staff was attentive and friendly, the decor was great, and the seating was comfortable. The food was delicious and perfect for our vegetarian group to enjoy a variety of options. My only complaint is that I wish there had been a bit more food on each plate because it was so tasty!

This is a 7star for Ottawa Visually stunning. Fragrant, whole smells from their plated berries, vegetables, herbs spices. The meats were perfect tender succulent. Flavours were extremely well balanced. Absolutely filling in every sense. Bring friends and make it a sharing dinner party, it was beautiful. Here’s what we had, and we recommend it all: •The Pear Necessities Lively Sweet(Cardamom Infused Rum • Maple Whiskey • Pear • Lemon • Cinnamon) •Sparkling Rosé •Hummus(in no way ordinary new, and not yet written on the menu, but an absolute must) •Fresh Pita Basket(2 rounds, freshly baked in house and warm) •Muhammara(Cashew · Pomegranate) •Savory Katayef •Kushbashi Kebab •Barberry Rice this is fresh made, order this ahead of time(during drinks) in order for it to arrive for dinner •Zaatar Crusted Lamb Loin Tony thank you to the entire staff

The best experience I had in a long time. My boyfriend and I were just astonished with the perfect mixture of ingredients. Who knew that the artichoke goes so yummy with tuna fish. Our congratulations go to the chef, he really put heart and soul into each one of the dishes. Now we will crave forever the delicious cheese cake ornate with pistachios and hibiscus syrup. It's a must for a visit of the capital and it's always in our minds as one of the best restaurant experiences. I rate it 10 out of 10 : :
