The Durham Diner

Waited 40 minutes for fries and poutine. We waited patiently because it was busy ..as the restaurant cleared out we noticed the staff just talking and not paying attention to the order..so we finally asked for our food.They blamed it on a shift change but gave us the cold poutine and fries that sat behind the counter ..there were about 5 staff members there and once food is ready do you not tell the customers that it is ready? we were the only.ones there. Very disappointed and will not be returning. Looked like the staff was there for more of a social gathering.

Great poutine with real cheese curds! Fast and friendly service. Owner came out and talked to us to make sure everything was great will come here again!

The restaurant is in desperate need of a deep clean. Food was absolutely awful. We were told it would be 10 minutes and it took at least 40. The fries and poutine were inedible.... very disappointing.

Drive on by, quickly! We were truly disappointed with the awful food quality, miniscule portions, found it pricy for what you get, cleanliness, etc... This place used to be great! We stopped in on Juky 3rd with some hungry folks. They ordered the 2 piece haddock dinners $21.50 each). When the food came I would be surprised if each dinner had 4 ounces of fish, and a small portion of fresh cut fries. The food was overcooked, greasy, and far from with the price. Don't be duped folks! Keep driving!

AWFUL. We ordered 20 min in advance and waited 20 min at the restaurant. Food was overpriced and overcooked. Greasy, salty and watered down malt vinegar. Never again.
