Went with friends and had the Friday fish fry. Three large pieces of fish, cooked perfectly hot, flaky, light, but flavorful batter. The fish was not oily or greasy. Large portion of French fries, a roll and Cole slaw. My friends had two pieces of fish, only, and one trip to the salad bar. A better carb option. One said the chicken wild rice soup was very good. Great atmosphere more Northwoods than I expected. Very roomy and even though it was at about one half capacity, it was not noisy; easy to have a conversation. Service was solid; not stellar but no complaints. Look forward to returning next I am in the area. Had fish as take out in June. It was good, but clearly better directly from the kitchen and not over steamed from the take out container.
