Bidrage med feedbackI believe the place is under new management and the menus have been changed. The menu looks good but as regular customers we have noticed a decline in the quality of the food. The Kahuna burger, once Pulp Kitchen's trademark burger and simply delicious, is not as nice any more. The patty is too peppery, the pineapple too thin and the whole thing not given the same care and attention it once used to get.Their hot chips are still top notch.I'd like to think our recent couple of visits were just an anomaly but I think they need to be careful with their quality.
Good place for Sunday breakfast Good range of choices full breakfast PancakesCoffees made well Service is quickLocation out of the way is the suburbs but worth the drive given the lack of choices in the general area. Food was provided quickly and ideal to sit outside in the dry season.
We have eaten Brunch at Pulp Kitchen occasionally since it opened so aren't newbies. We were on our way to a full day on the Peninsula and needed to fuel up with comfort food. As always, serves are large and fast served. My better halfs Eggs Benny had pan seared leg ham - at PK they think of little things like that which makes the food extra scrumptious. I'm a big eater and just managed to devour the lot. The coffee is pretty good too, I'd say OK+. Great for brunch, consistent and satisfying.
We saw the menu for this place on Facebook and thought it looked pretty good so headed out there for lunch. We ordered a cheeseburger ($11) and added bacon and also had the two piece feed ($12).The burger buns were an average sesame seed bun. The meat patty was a highly processed patty full of fillers and very little meat. There was no sauce on the burger and the cheese was very minimal and not the type you would get on a traditional cheeseburger. This is what we would expect for $6 from a takeaway food shop. The two piece feed consisted of a wing and drumstick (no breast or thigh pieces as per the menu description) and a very small handful of chips. This was a small serving considering the price. We had the Nashville spice which simple but tasted ok, however added a gritty like taste to the very oily chicken, making it taste like it had been fried in very dirty oil.We will not be returning or recommending to family or friends.
Disappointing new menu which has scrapped many of the previous gourmet burgers, sweet potato fries etc in favour of fairly standard fare and narrow range. Now includes fried chicken. Give it a miss. I'm sorry to say it really is just 'average' at best.
