The Local - Dungarvan

6 of us went here for dinner. Absolutely no complaints. Great food, great portions, great value. Would go back.

A real find and probably would have passed it if there were more restaurants open on a Monday night in August. Glad I found it. Had the burger. The BEST BURGER IN IRELAND. Hands down. The other main was a fillet of Hake with Mediterranean veg and sauté potatoes. Both dishes were sublime. The waiting staff were fantastic as was the barman. All were young and enthusiastic with smiles all round and attention to detail. Impressive all round

Early dinner simply.... Wow! Never really changes here with regards to Service, Food Craic. Wine list just perfect priced for all pockets!! Specials board along with usual menu, changes regularly.. Mediterranean flair with scrumptious Tapas also. Ticked off on our our next visit lmust have iist ...Hubby's Lobster was Lip Smacking good so was my Crumbed Hake. A Very Happy Tuesday for sure!!!

Visited twice while we were in Dungarvan. Situated in the main sqaure, the location is excellent, traditional Irish style pub inside with bench seating outside in the sqaure. Menu is burgers, steaks etc and was tasty and well presented on both visits. Service efficient and friendly, child friendly restaurant with ice cream cones for the kids. Good quality pub crub Guinness, worth a visit.
